Treatment of Complex Infections
Although many infections can be treated by a primary care physician, complex bacteria, virus or other microorganism infections require specialty care. At Rocky Mountain Infectious Diseases, we are experts in the field of diagnosing and treating complex and antibiotic resistant infections.
Chronic or slow-healing wounds can be difficult to treat. We are trained to evaluate and develop comprehensive care and treatment plans for ulcers, infected or necrotizing wounds, and complex soft tissue wounds.
Antibiotic Infusion Center
Our state-of-the-art antibiotic infusion center provides a controlled environment where therapy can be closely monitored by experienced professionals and healthcare providers. We’ve designed a comfortable environment for your treatments, complete with comfy chairs, televisions, and WiFi Internet.
The world is vast, and home to many region-specific diseases and microorganisms. It’s important to make sure you are aware of the risks and up-to-date on all vaccines before you travel. Click here for more information on our travel medicine program.
While HIV and AIDS are not curable, modern treatment options and antiretroviral drugs can effectively suppress the virus and help patients live longer, healthier lives.
Hepatitis C (HCV) Treatment
Hepatitis C is a liver disease caused by the Hepatitis C Virus (HCV). Generally, the infection becomes a chronic condition that can lead to cirrhosis of the liver and liver cancer. At RMID, we offer state-of-the-art treatment methods to manage—and in many cases cure—Hepatitis C.
